If you are a GRA member and attended the convention, please find the email that Alex sent out after the convention and take the time to fill out the poll. Alex wants to hear your comments concerning the convention. Two GOP candidates became so frustrated at the behavior of the convention chairman and the heavy bias by the nominating committee that they decided not to run when giving their final speech. Brian Parker and I witnessed the Donna Gallher instance at microphone one. Everything said in this email really did happen. I was also part of the effort to use paper ballots and wore the orange vest at the convention, signifying I had been trained. The ballots were printed and ready to go. Josh McKoon was made aware of our effort long before the convention started.
As Norine mentioned in her final speech that the convention was rigged for Josh to win, she didn’t make it clear why. David Cross would have done everything possible to stop using the Dominion machines for voting and return to paper ballots. Brian Kemp plans to run for President in 2028 and will need to carry his home state and get the 16 electoral votes. Using the Dominion machines will help ensure that he wins. However, he will also need a Secretary of State who will provide the cover-up. Many expect Josh McKoon to run for that position. If that does happen, I hope the voters will remember all that has taken place. The entire Georgia GOP now owns the 2026 election and the pending results. The GOP just made the party further divide, which makes me wonder if they care about winning in 2026. Two great things did happen at the convention: Raffensperger can not run as a Republican in Georgia again, and Jon Burns was censured. The Freedom Caucus, Alex Johnson, and the GRA led this effort. The 9th District GOP never allowed these two resolutions to be voted on at the district meeting. Cooper Whitmire chaired the 9th District resolution committee. The Hall GOP never submitted any resolutions to the district, from what I have been told.
The Hall GOP seems to be the source of a rumor circulating that the Republican Women are crazy for allowing certain candidates to speak at their meetings. We have allowed the same candidates to speak at the Golden Corral, so we must also be crazy. What a great way to begin unity and the 2026 election cycle.
